HARDY + LIU How We Met…

The short version of our story? We met on Tinder. It was all about timing and being in the right place at the right time. Our first messages covered everything from our Asian cultures, gardening, and travel to quantum physics and board games. Eventually, we decided to meet up with friends for a fun game of Catan. It was Michael’s first time playing, and unsurprisingly, he lost. But he did manage to snag the Longest Road award—and Joey’s heart—after becoming the first person to beat her in foosball on a later date.

Fast forward to today, and our relationship is still thriving thanks to those initial conversations, shared dreams, and an unwavering commitment to supporting each other. Our love for travel, meaningful experiences, and growing together as a multicultural family continues to be the foundation of our journey.
